About Us

PAWS 'n' Purrs is based in Kent and is run by Lois Fulton and Nadine Baldock. Lois covers Chatham and Rochester areas and Nadine covers Sittingbourne area.

At PAWS 'n' Purrs we strive to care for your pets individual needs. All dogs are walked according to their own personal routine, whether they are full of energy and need a vigorous run in the countryside or in their twilight years and just need a gentle stroll in the local park. As a rule we only walk no more than three compatible dogs at a time, which allows us to give your dog our full attention. All dogs are returned home with their tails wagging.

We always offer a free initial consultation which allows us time to meet you and your pet and discuss any specific requirements they have.
All dogs and cats must be up to date with vaccinations and ideally on a flea and worm control programme.
Unfortunately we are unable to take bitches that are in season.

PAWS is a member of the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP) and is fully insured. picture of Lois

Who we are

Lois Fulton
Hi, my name is Lois and  I cover Chatham and Rocester
I think you can safely describe me as animal mad.
My life has always been involved with animals, from a young child I have always had pets of my own.  I was a Veterinary Nurse for 13 years and then set up PAWS in 2001.  Nadine joined the company in 2008 and we became Paws 'n' Purrs.
I am also a keen artist, specialising in Pet Portraits, and I have been commissioned by
many of my clients to paint their pets.  Please see the link on this site to see some
of my work.

Hello, my name is Nadine and I cover Sittingbourne, Teynham,  Newington & Rainham areas
along with the help of my husband, Mike and my animal loving friend, Heidi.
I've always been passionate about animals & love being surrounded by them.
I grew up in rural Ireland and my family took in many unwanted animals
including dogs (many), cats, goats, ferrets, tortoise, rabbits, ducks, chickens, fish, hamsters..,
as a child I was given the job of chief dog walker and walked the family's 4 dogs
(a variation of lurchers, whippets, collies, terriers, poodles and mongrels) 5-10 miles everyday so I guess that's what got me started!

I currently have 5 rescue cats aged between 1-13yrs approx and a young whippet cross who came from the fantastic rescue charity Dogs Needing Homes
and I am an active volunteer within the Sittingbourne Branch of the RSPCA.
